Federal space program of Russia for the period up to 2000. First national program of space activities

The superintendents of the project for the development of the first long-term Federal space program of Russia for the period up to 2000 (FSP-2000) were the Director General of the RSA Yu.N. Koptev and TsNIImash Director General V.F. Utkin.

The umbrella organization of the FSP-2000 project was TsNIImash, the main duty-holders were V.P. Senkevich, V.I.Luk’jaschenko, V.S.Irevlin, N.F.Moiseev and others.

The FSP-2000 project was approved and adopted for implementation by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers - Government of the Russian Federation of December 11, 1992 N 1282 “On State Support and Securing Space Activities of the Russian Federation”.

Results of FSP-2000 implementation

  1. Development of a number of new space systems and complexes (Meteor-3M, Okean-O, Nadezhda-M, Elektro, Yamal-100, etc.), launch vehicles (Proton-M, Dnepr), space infrastructure facilities and other space craft.
  2. Level-pegging of the space industry during transition to a market economy, prevention of bankruptcy of numerous enterprises of the rocket and space industry.

 

Federal Space Program of Russia for 2001-2005

The development of the TsNIImash project of the Russian Federal Space Program for 2001-2005 was a continuation the FSP- 2000. (FSP-2005).

The draft FPK-2005 was approved upon the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 30, 2000 N. 288.

Results of FSP-2005 implementation

  1. Stabilization of the economic situation of enterprises and organizations of the rocket and space industry.
  2. Creation of new spacecraft: Express-AM, Gonets-M, Yamal-200, Resurs-DK, Foton-M and other space vehicles.

 

Federal Space Program of Russia for 2006–2015

Upon the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation (Minutes of the meeting of 04/03/2003, N 11) 11 ministries, departments and research organizations of the RSI were identified as main developers of “Federal Space Program of Russia for 2006–2015” project.

TsNIImash is central coordinating body for FSP-2015 development.

“Program ...” was approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 22, 2005 N 635.

The spacecraft Spektr-R, Koronas-Foton, Elektro-L, Kanopus-V, Fregat-SB booster and other spacecraft were engineered program wide FSP-2015.

 

Federal Space Program of Russia for 2016-2025

The development of the draft federal space program of Russia for 2016-2025 (FSP-2025) was carried out in order to implement the assignment of the Government of the Russian Federation of April 5, 2010 No. CN-P7-2125 with the involvement of 20 ministries, departments and research organizations of the RSI .

TsNIImash is the parent organization for the development of the FSP-2025 project as a whole.

FPK-2025 was approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 23/03/2016 N 230.

By 2025, within the framework of FSP-2025, it is planned to create new spacecraft Obzor-O, Resurs-PM, Smotr, Obzor-R, Express-RV, Express-AMU and other spacecraft, conduct flight tests of the Angara A5-B launch vehicle, test stages 1a and 1b of Soyuz-2 and PPTK-NP (in circumterrestrial space).
